Laurie Jevons is an experienced nonprofit consultant, with fifteen years of expertise leading public health projects, securing grant funding, implementing DEI initiatives, facilitating strategic planning, and effective project management. Laurie has a Psychology degree from McGill University, and a Nonprofit Management Master’s Degree from Springfield College, as well as a Project Management Professional certification. Following a decade of community based work across Colorado, Montana, and Maine, Laurie is an experienced facilitator and detailed project manager. Based in Portland, Maine, Laurie values social sustainability in addition to environmental sustainability. Laurie is a passionate grant writer, an expert on inclusive human resources processes (including recruiting and writing policies), and an experienced strategic planner. Laurie is deeply invested in the community, and has served on boards and Steering Committees across Maine, including the Maine Appalachian Trail Club, Maine Needs, and Portland Greendrinks. Laurie was also part of the final cohort of the Maine Association of Nonprofits Emerging Leaders cohorts.
